theo adams performance in tokyo

'Cry Out' is the new theatrical production from the Theo Adams Company. This epic performance tears apart power ballads, classical scores, queer cabaret and expressionist dance to create a truly 21st Century spectacle.

As emotional fevers reach boiling point, R&B Divas reach out to save your soul from oblivion. The feral orchestra shimmer below, underscoring each movement with songs that veer from Optimistic euphoria to the depths of passionate despair.

“In the spotlight, your tears glow like glitter.
Be a superstar in the chorus.
Step forward, and Cry Out.
(Applause).”

Theo Adams is a self-taught, 20 year old director, performer and visionary. Fresh from an epic collaboration with acclaimed photographer David Sims and W Magazine; His newly formed company of talented and passionate dancers, musicians, artists and performers are travelling from London to Tokyo to realise their most ambitious project to date.

Entirely self-funded, managed and motivated, this new generation of interdisciplinary collaborators provide an uncompromised vision that is as exciting, artistic and powerful as it unusual.

The World Premier of “CRY OUT” will take place on the 30th November 2009 at the Za Koenji Theatre in Tokyo, Japan.
